2023 Summer Coaches College

August 11, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Special Olympics Maine’s Summer Coach’s College will be held on Friday August 11th, 2023 primarily on Thomas College’s campus in Waterville (other venues include Colby College for Athletics (track & field),  Natanis Golf Course Driving Range for Golf and Alfond Youth & Community Center for the 2 part of swimming. Each of these venues are located in Waterville or close by and we have built in enough time in the schedule to accommodate those traveling between venues). Registrants will have the option of choosing up to 2 out of 10 courses (1 per breakout session) to become a certified in. This is a great opportunity for new coaches to gain skills needed to train their athletes better in the sports they complete in and for existing coaches to enhance their coaching abilities.  Fee to register is $25 per coach (lunch is provided).
