2023 Speed Skating Competition

Speed Skating Team Registration
Event Location: Falmouth Family Ice Center – Falmouth
Event Date: Wednesday February 15th
Speed Skating athletes can enter in up to 3 events within one Ability Level. Ability levels – (25M & 55M Races), (111M, 222M and 333M Races) & (500M, 777M and 1000M Races). Speed Skaters must provide their own equipment including a helmet (required) for this event.
You will need the following information to complete this registration process:
o HOD Name & Email
o Head Speed Skating Head Coach Name & Email
o Assistant Speed Skating Coach Name
o Athlete: Name, Gender, Date of Birth & Events
Athletes must have a current Athlete Medical and Release and Communicable Diseases Waiver on file with SOMaine prior to competition date in order to be properly registered for any Special Olympics Maine competition. Medicals remain current for three years and the release is good forever (or until updated).
All Coaches need to meet the minimum requirements of a SOMaine Coach (Volunteer A Application, Protective Behaviors certification & Concussion Awareness and Safety certification –each are required every three years, Communicable Diseases Waiver is also required and does not expire) as well as the Unified Partner Release form prior to competition date to be properly registered for any Special Olympics Maine competition.
