“Tee” it Up with A Special Olympics Maine Athlete Golf Scramble
The “Tee’it Up with a Special Olympics Maine Athlete” golf scramble, is a unique event held annually at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. This is a “crowd favorite” as it gives participants a chance to meet, and get to know, our athletes. Each scramble team of 4 is assigned a 5th team member which is a Special Olympics Maine Golf Athlete. Complete with all the amenities other scrambles have, you also get a chance to play this game you love with one of our athletes, who loves the game as much as you do! More than 25 of our athletes participated in the 2022 event. This has become a real hit, with many teams returning year after year, requesting “their” S O athlete from past years! Come join the fun.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Insurance Open
For 30 years Enterprise Rent-A-Car has sponsored the “Open” golf tournament to benefit Special Olympics Maine. This scramble format tournament is open to individuals and teams of 4. There are also numerous sponsorship opportunities. In addition to all the contests and amenities associated with this event, those who participate will be welcome to the post event at Camp Tall Pines (a lakefront camp owned and operated by Special Olympics Maine, located on Lower Range Pond, 1 mile from the golf course). Boothbay Cornhole Classic
Traditionally known for the Annual BCC Golf Tournament, the BCC has begun a new adventure and tradition. 2023 marks the 3rd Annual Boothbay Cornhole Classic, a fun-filled day event filled with laughter, food, and cash prizes for the tournament winners!
Most importantly, BCC continues to dedicate its’ 32nd year to supporting, raising funds, and bring awareness of the importance of the Special Olympics of Maine.
Over the years, Boothbay Charities Classic has been a proud supporter of the Special Olympics of Maine. For 29 years, the annual golf tournament brought together people from all over the USA to connect, volunteer, donate and support the athletes of the wonderful State of Maine. Beginning in 2021, the organization’s approach to events changed, but the love for the people and organization has not.
We hope you will all continue to join us in a new game this year to celebrate 32 years of giving and our 2nd Annual Boothbay Cornhole Classic!
