Since April 1, 2022; Special Olympics Maine has followed guidelines set forth by Special Olympics Inc via our Return to Play Protocols & Plan. Based on this year’s changes around the CDC pandemic protocols, SOI has given all accredited programs clearance to follow individual state/provincial/territorial, national or tribal health & safety laws and guidelines. Effective Immediately, Special Olympics Maine will now follow all current and future Maine CDC Health & Safety Guidelines, when planning and participating in SOME activities at the local, area and state levels.
With this news, we look forward to returning to a full Sports and Program schedule for 2023!
