Equestrian
Equestrian is one of the most fascinating sports during the Special Olympics World Games. Athletes who compete in equestrian events learn to ride, develop sports skills and gain the self-confidence to direct and control a horse. The balance, the stability and the right communication between the horse and the rider is a key element for success in equestrian sport.
Athletes compete in a variety of English and Western-style events including relays, equitation, showmanship, barrel racing, driving and trails.
