DESCRIPTION:Join Special Olympics Maine for the 2026 State Soccer Competition on Thursday\, October 15 at the Waterville Youth Soccer Association – North Street Fields in Waterville. \n\n\n\nAthletes and Unified Partners from across Maine will come together for a day of soccer competition\, teamwork\, and fun. \n\n\n\nCompetition opportunities include: \n\n\n\n\nIndividual Skills Competition\n\n\n\n5-A-Side Traditional Team Competition\n\n\n\n5-A-Side Unified Team Competition\n\n\n\n\nEvent Details \n\n\n\n\nCheck-In: 8:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nCompetition Begins: 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nLocation: Waterville Youth Soccer Association – North Street Fields\, 153 North St.\, Waterville\, ME 04901\n\n\n\n\nInterested in Participating?\n\n\n\nGetting involved is easy: \n\n\n\n\nLet us know you’re interested. Complete the Intent to Participate Form for the State Soccer Competition.\n\n\n\nWatch for registration. About 4 weeks before the competition\, registration information will be sent to everyone who completed the Intent to Participate Form.\n\n\n\nComplete your registration. Follow the instructions from Special Olympics Maine to register your athletes\, Unified Partners\, and team for the competition.\n\n\n\n\nInterested in playing but don’t have a team? Visit our Become an Athlete page and complete the Athlete Intake Form. A Special Olympics Maine staff member will reach out to help connect you with soccer and other opportunities in your area. \n\n\n\nWe love having fans in the stands!Attend as a fan!
