Wooster Hill Golf Classic Registration Information

While disc golf is not yet an officially recognized Special Olympics sport, there are those of us who hope that it will be someday. We are committed operating within the spirit and mission of Special Olympics and will strive to offer a great experience for all who attend. For now the WHDGC is considered an experimental exhibition event. It is sponsored by the Wooster Hill Day Program and our friends at the Belgrade Lakes Disc Golf Course.
All events will be played in groups of four. Family or support staff are welcome to play along. A group of course members and regulars have volunteered to help out. We want to send a volunteer out on the course with each group who does not have an experienced leader to help with score keeping, rules/skills mentoring, and to ensure safe play.
Groups will formed at the registration table upon arrival. Play on Fox Run 18, Fox Run 9, and Coyote 6 will begin on a first-come, first-play basis. As groups complete course play, we will begin the Putting for the Gold and Distance Driving events. We expect these to begin around 11:00. During down-time we’ll have baskets available in the fields for practice.
Bring your own discs, if you have them. Loaner discs are also available, thanks to the generosity of friends of the course. Please treat them with respect and return them afterwards.
Groups are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase at the clubhouse. Please come prepared to pay a $2 greens-fee.
If you need more information, give us a call or shoot us an e-mail. Hope to see you in September. In the meantime, find a local course and practice, practice, practice!!!  For more information contact:
