What activities can you do at Camp Tall Pines?
Swimming, canoeing, boating, fishing, campfires, arts & crafts, basketball, bocce, tennis, board games, puzzles, showshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice fishing.
Who Can Reserve Camp Tall Pines?
Camp Tall Pines is available to schools, agencies, and organizations serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. Groups provide their own staff during their stay. A minimum supervision ratio of one staff member for every three campers is required.
Accommodations
Camp Tall Pines can accommodate groups in a variety of comfortable lodging options.
Heated Accessible Cabins
Our two heated accessible cabins include: three bedrooms, full kitchen and dining area, living room, bathroom, laundry, room for 9 guests.
Seasonal Cottages (May–October)
Pur two cottages each include: 8 beds, electricity, bathroom, mini fridge, monitor heather.
Camp Facilities (May–October)
Our camp facilities include: recreation hall, commercial kitchen, waterfront, campfire areas, outdoor gathering spaces.

A Special Place Since 1968
Camp Tall Pines has been creating meaningful experiences for people with intellectual disabilities for more than 50 years. Originally established in 1968, the camp became part of Special Olympics Maine in 1993 and has continued to welcome campers from across the state for vacations, recreation, and connection ever since.
