Join Special Olympics Maine for the 2026 State Soccer Competition on Thursday, October 15 at the Waterville Youth Soccer Association – North Street Fields in Waterville.
Athletes and Unified Partners from across Maine will come together for a day of soccer competition, teamwork, and fun.
Competition opportunities include:
- Individual Skills Competition
- 5-A-Side Traditional Team Competition
- 5-A-Side Unified Team Competition

- Check-In: 8:00 a.m.
- Competition Begins: 9:00 a.m.

Interested in Participating?
Getting involved is easy:
- Let us know you’re interested. Complete the Intent to Participate Form for the State Soccer Competition.
- Watch for registration. About 4 weeks before the competition, registration information will be sent to everyone who completed the Intent to Participate Form.
- Complete your registration. Follow the instructions from Special Olympics Maine to register your athletes, Unified Partners, and team for the competition.
Interested in playing but don’t have a team? Visit our Become an Athlete page and complete the Athlete Intake Form. A Special Olympics Maine staff member will reach out to help connect you with soccer and other opportunities in your area.
